Maker Faire, May 19-20

In three weeks the Maker Faire will draw makers from all over to the San Mateo Fairgrounds to participate in Demonstrations, Presentations, Workshops, Interactive Performances, etc.
I'm totally looking forward to Crabfu's steambots, especially the R2S2, but there'll be lots of other amazing makings more - like works by our friend Kal Spelletich, a Fling catapult contest, SRL and really many others ... and on top of that monochrom will confront you with concepts, yielding a joyful bucket of good clean fanaticism, crisis, language, culture, self-content, identity, utopia, mania and despair.

Presently it looks like we will make it there with three cocktail-robots, the tickets are booked, we'll just have to fit the bots in our luggage ...
At the faire, located in the San Mateo County Expo Center, we'll be part of the greater RoboGames appearance RoboGames Presents: The ComBot Cup housed in the Robotics Pavilion.
